Following on from our Instagram Pattern Challenge, to find patterns in everyday things, we challenged you to create a design based on one of these patterns.  Of course, the whole point is that you see these patterns when you are least expecting them, so going looking for them sort of defeats the object.  Although, keeping your eyes open is always good practice if you want to be inspired by what you see around you!  But perhaps lack of suitable inspiration is why there were only two entries in this month's challenge:

Lemon's Lovely Loot didn't add any inspiration details, but was clearly inspired by doughnuts!

Polly Dextrous was inspired by her atmospheric photo of shadows on cobbles to create a stitched picture,

which lead to her design:

Shadows.
