What's in a name?
I've had a few questions about naming files, so I thought I ought to clarify things here.
When you upload your design, it will automatically be given the name which is on the file - even if this is 'image' or DSC1234.
Once you have saved your file and reopened it from your account, you will be given the option of editing the name, so if you change your mind about what it should be called, or haven't thought of a name before you uploaded it, you can change it later.
It is a good idea to give your design a name if you plan to make it public at some point. A good name makes your design seem more appealing than just calling it 'image'. However, even if you plan to keep your designs private, it is still worth giving them some sort of name. It will make it much easier to find a specific design if it has a name – and my nightmare is having a print run consisting of 30 files all called 'image'! You could be descriptive - 'flowers' - or whimsical - 'fairy garden'. Use your imagination! You can look at other designers' work for inspiration.
Have fun naming your creations!
