Amelia Tea Dress Competition Entries
Thank you to everyone who entered our design competition this month; we had 13 entries.
Not surprisingly, since the brief was to design a fabric with which to make a vintage style dress, the predominant theme was flowers and the main colours were blue, green and white. (You can see all the details of the competition here.) Because of the brief, most of the designs are also fairly small, so I'm showing them at the fat quarter size and also at the swatch size, so that you can appreciate the details in the designs. I'm just glad I don't have to choose a winner!
So, in no particular order, except maybe theme / colour, the designs are:

Wren and Bluebell White

Blue Flower

Dragonflies Flowers

Flower Power Girl Green

Flowery

Floral Dream

Roses Small

Mitella Stauropetala
The slightly less flowery ones:

Vintage Summer

Lichen
The definitely not flowery ones:

Teapot Pattern

London Buses

Spitfire Blue
There's no voting this month, as the designs will be judged by Amy Thomas, of Almond Rock and Love Sewing magazine. However, they will be on Facebook, so you can still Like them and tell the designers what you think (politely! - although you usually are.) You can also comment below.
The winner will be announced next week, and we'll be back to a design challenge next month.
