Exciting news!  You can now get your designs printed onto tea towels!

You can create a design specifically for tea towels, or use an existing design.  Some, of course, may not work as tea towels.  Don't forget to allow for the hems.

If you select 'tea towel' in the size box, you will see what your tea towel looks like in portrait format.  If your design is landscape, you will have to look at it sideways, I'm afraid.  You will need to rotate it before you upload it, or you will not get a true view of the printed tea towel.  The tea towels are 75cms x 50 cms and come on a roll, so the short edges have a selvede and the long edge will need hemming.  The fabric is 100% cotton and has a slightly more obvious weave than our plain cottons.  Tea towels will cost £6 each to their designers, £6.50 if you choose another designer's work, with the 50p going to the designer as commission.

It is possible to fit 4 75cms x 50 cms tea towels onto a metre of 150cm wide plain cotton, if you prefer to do that.  (3 or even 4 sides will need hemming.)  Tea towel designs will be centred, so when you select 1m of 150cm wide fabric, the tea towel design will be in the centre of that.  However, if I receive an order like that, I will assume you want 4 tea towels, and will print accordingly.  If it's your own tea towel design which hasn't been made public, please also email, so that I know it is a tea towel.

If you order a tea towel using an existing design (ie one not designed specifially for tea towels) then it will be printed portrait.
