Instagram Pattern Challenge
The world is full of patterns which are there for the spotting! You just have to be on the look-out for them - which I know many of you are.
To encourage us all to be aware of our surroundings, and to spot interesting patterns, I'm running an Instagram pattern challenge, starting on Saturday, November 25th.
Each day for that week, I'll give you a prompt for your challenge. If you're not already following me on Instagram, you can find me here. We'll use the hashtag #pmppatterns, so that we can find each other's photos. You might like to check out some of the designs we found last year, either on Instagram, under the #pmppatterns hashtag, or on the blog.
I'm going to list the prompts here, so you can use them in any order. Some of them might be good on one day and hopeless on another. There may also be some overlap between them. Don't worry about it - just take photos of inspirational patterns you find around you. Don't worry, either, if you can't do them all - just do what you can or want to do. If you're not on Instagram, you can still join in using your camera. I may regram some of your finds - please let me know if you'd rather I didn't. I'll also do a round-up next month. If you've taken photos on your camera, please feel free to email them to me so they may be included in the round-up.
Here are the prompts:
- Inside
- Outside
- Under foot
- Overhead
- Walls and fences
- Reflections
- The natural world
- Serendipity
Happy spotting!
