Exciting news - we have a new fabric.

We are introducing a 100% cotton drill.

This is the heavier-weight fabric many of you have been asking for.  If you're not sure what drill looks like, it has a diagonal weave:

It's 300gsm, 150cms wide and optic (bright) white.  It's perfect for bags, cushions, floor cushions and many other projects beside.  I look forward to seeing what you make with it!

It won't be appearing on the website immediately.  If you would like to order it, please order a swatch of another fabric with the voucher code DRILL and drop me an email with the quantity you want.  I will send an invoice for the cost of the fabric.  (If you read about this in the newsletter, I'm afraid I gave the wrong code - DRILL is the correct code.)

Drill will be available as 150cm wide metres, price £24 printed with your own design, £26 printed with a design from our Market Place; fat quarters (56cms x 50cms), price £7 printed with your own design, £7.50 printed with a design from our Market Place and swatches, price £2.50.

Drill should be dry-cleaned.

In other fabric news, I have managed to get hold of some more 195gsm plain cotton, but it is optic white.  That won't make much difference for some designs, but some colours will look slightly different.  If you have seen our 130gsm fabric printed, that is optic white, so colours will look much the same as they do on that.
