The first design challenge of the year - with a theme of dinosaurs - has elicited three entries.  They are: 

 

Disco Dinos by Helen Hodgson, aka Polly Dextrous

Green Dinosaurs by Emily Ainsworth

Dinosaur Toys by Linda Calverley

As usual, these are shown at the fat quarter and swatch sizes.  (Apologies to Emily; this is probably not the best swatch-sized view of her design!)

Helen said her design is a collage of multicoloured, stitched dinosaur characters , which  was fun to do,  She is planning on working up a couple of them into kits too. 

Linda said her Grandson's much loved toys were the models for this design. The background was a digitally altered painting.
