Design Challenge Entries - Blue and White
26 September 2019 11:31
Here are the entries for this month's design challenge. The theme was Blue & White (you can see the brief here) so the entries are very different.
Suzanne, aka Heckadoodledo, created a design based on a Cuban car - something close to many boys' hearts!

Cornelia's (ByCornelia) design is more of a picture:

Cheater Quilt Cowboy
Helen (Polly Dextrous) went for a more traditional patchwork quilt design, with her signature embroidery on it.

Stitched Triangle Pattern
I'm showing Helen's design at the fat quarter and swatch sizes, but the other two don't really benefit from being shown at the swatch size. In fact, Cornelia's design is a little wider than a fat quarter. Please Like any that you do like, either here or on Facebook. It's a real encouragement to the designers.
These designs will be added to the Project Linus quilt. You can read about that in the blog post Project Linus Quilt. I've already got a couple of blocks, plus lots of half square triangles from our Fabric Fun Craft Club night this week, but there's still plenty of time to make a block to add to our quilt. You can find all the details in the blog post. Let's get sewing!
