Project Linus Quilt at the Fabric Fun Craft Club
There will be no normal club night this month - it was too close to Christmas to organise.
However, there will be a different sort of club night - on Friday, January 17th at 8pm. I will start to put together the Project Linus quilt, which some of you designed and / or made blocks for. If you would like to join us, let me know and I'll give you access to our FB group. we'll be live on our FB page. (Change of plan!) Get an idea of what a club night is like.
You can read a bit more about Project Linus here.
You can sew, too, if you wish. We will be making some blocks, for which you will need a few small pieces of fabric, anything from about 2½" square. These can be any colour, although the rest of the quilt will be mainly blue and white. We will be using our 195gsm cotton, so ideally something similar for any blocks you make. One of the blocks we make will be a 9-patch. Ideally for this you need 4 blue squares, 4 white squares and 1 of another colour to provide a 'pop'. The squares can be any size from about 2½", but all need to be the same. For blue, read your main colour; for white read a paler , possibly plain or less patterned, colour. But it's a 'scrappy' patch, so use whatever you have.

If you would like to join in, but have no suitable fabric, I can send you enough small pieces to make a block or strip. I would appreciate a contribution of £1 towards postage, please.
