What are you making?

03 July 2014 11:09

We've been printing fabric now for just over 3 months.  So, what are you making with yours?

Most popular amongst the things I've heard about are bags and cushions.

Frances made her quirky dragon print into a cushion (above) and Eleanor also used her triangle design in a patchwork cushion.  She is planning to make some of her Tennis Match fabric into cushions, too.

Here are two bags, made from The Last Leaf (Cassandra Grous) and Robin (Rowena Taylor).

I've been making clothes.  I've already told you about my Miette skirt, made with Dragonfly fabric.  I've also made a Sew Chic Tia dress with Blue Heart on Grey design printed onto our lighter-weight fabric.

What next?  Sarah Summers has recently uploaded some lovely designs.  My favourites are Beehives and Flowers

and Daisies.  I haven't yet decided what to make with the Beehive fabric - any ideas?  I'm definitely going to make something!  I've ear-marked the Daisies fabric for a dress I have in mind, but it might be a while before I have time to make that. It would also be great for quilting.

Amongst our customers, Sarah's Run, Dog, Run design has proved popular.

We'd really like to hear what you are making with it, or with any other fabric you've ordered.

What would you make with these designs?
