Shakespeare Challenge Designs

21 April 2016 18:58

I always love seeing the entries to our fabric design competitions and challenges.  It's fascinating to see the different ways people interpret the theme - and the similarities.  This time, the only similarities were that two people used the traditional theatrical symbol of the two masks; but one also used words:

Comedy and Tragedy

Shakespeare's Hamlet

We had a book collection and a book shop:

Complete Works

Shakespeare's Bookshop of Australia's Port Noarlonga

Last, but not least, we have a design based on a character:

Ophelia's Flowers

Which is your favourite?  Tell us below, or visit our FB page.  Don't forget to tell the designers if you like their work - we all appreciate a bit of encouragement!  And look out for these designs appearing in our Market Place in the next few days.
