Apologies

A thousand apologies to those of you who have had to wait for your orders.  I've had a difficult couple of weeks since I fell downstairs and broke my leg!

I didn't work at all for 3 days.  (In fact, I didn't do much of anything; I was really surprised by how much the accident took out of me generally.) When I started to work again, I faced the usual problems of those on crutches: I can't move very fast (as my consultant very kindly pointed out, I'm not 18 any more!), when I do walk, I can't carry anything and I can't drive.  All of which makes working - and anything else - slow and difficult.  However, I've called in the family reinforcements and we're almost up-to-date again.  I think tomorrow will be the last day I have to post any seriously delayed orders.

On the positive side, and very excitingly, I now have an employee!  I've been thinking for a while that I needed to find some help.  I've been using an agency for some help with packing and posting (the eagle-eyed amongst you may have spotted different hand-writing on your orders sometimes) but I needed to get some help with the printing.  That help has now arrived. Unfortunately, although she started this week, she's away for 2 weeks, coming back as we go away, so we won't really feel the benefit until the middle of May, but it's an improvement and will hopefully prevent a recurrance of the past two weeks.
